Information (video and audio)
on commercial DVD's is "stamped" or "pressed"
onto the disc which is then compatible with all DVD players.
Most companies that offer wedding DVD's however, "burn"
the information to disc using a computer and DVD re-writer.
There are two main ways of doing this, either in the DVD-R
format or the DVD+R format. Both formats are compatible
with only approximately 80% of DVD players that are less
than two years old. Most manufacturers of DVD players
are now ensuring that all their new models are compatible
with DVD-R. Our films are supplied on the DVD-R format
for maximum compatibility. |
